Keeper is now Double

I have big news. As of today, we have a new name: Keeper is now Double.

The team is the same. The product is the same (until our next changelog update 🙂).

The only thing that’s new is our name and website. You’ll now find us at doublehq.com.

I know it’s a big change. But I have come to love the name Double just as I loved Keeper. I’m sure you will too.

Why Double?

Double comes from the concept at the heart of bookkeeping: double-entry accounting.

It also reflects our mission to double every firm’s productivity.

And maybe most important of all, it’s a fun name.

Now, our file reviews are a great way to double check your work. Our financial reports let your clients double click on their performance.

And our monthly product recap webinar? An opportunity for a double take.

Why change at all?

I’m sure the question on many of your minds is why change our name at all.

To make a long story short: we got sued.

And while we love the name Keeper, we ultimately decided it was better to rebrand and focus our resources on our customers, our team, and our product.

So what's next?

What’s next is more of the same. With our new name, we’re doubling down on our mission to help accountants save time while producing higher-quality work.

You can continue to count on everything you’ve come to expect from us over the last four years: weekly product updates, world-class customer support, and a team that listens when you tell us what you want.

So that’s Double. Same company, new name. We’ve grown to love it, and we hope you will too.
