The complete close toolkit, built into Keeper.

Scaling an accounting firm isn’t about squeezing more hours into the month. It’s about cutting out the work that doesn’t need your expertise, so you can focus on building and maintaining relationships with your clients. That’s the idea behind Keeper Scale.

Keeper Scale: your advanced close toolkit

Keeper Scale is the new home for advanced close automation inside Keeper. It’s where we take on the hardest, and often most manual parts of accounting and bring them into the same streamlined platform you already use to manage the close. Included in Scale is:

Accruals

It’s 2025, and we’re still managing Accruals in spreadsheets. How is it 2025 and we’re still managing accruals in spreadsheets? Keeper gets your accruals out of spreadsheets and into the same place where you manage your month-end close. It manages all types of accruals and automates posting, tie out, and roll forward, so you can have audit-ready accruals done in minutes. Learn more on the product page.

AI Journal Entries

There’s nothing more daunting than staring down the barrel of an hour of copy and pasting and manipulating data from a PDF into a journal entry. AI Journal Entries takes that process and turns it into 2 minutes of review. It takes complex source files like payroll reports, ALTA settlement statements, and POS exports and turns them into review ready entries you can post straight to the ledger. Why call it "Scale"?

Because the whole point is to help you scale your work without scaling your workforce. These two features are just the start. Keeper Scale will continue to grow with new tools for execution, so you can spend less time in spreadsheets and more time serving your clients.

A note on pricing

First and foremost, we are not raising prices. Scale marks a change in how we handle pricing. Up until now, we’ve priced advanced features à la carte. That worked when we shipped a few big things a year, but with the pace we’re moving today, it puts too much pressure on firms to keep track of every release. So we’re moving to a tiered model. Same value, clearer packaging. As we keep adding features, we’ll align them with the client profiles these tiers are built for, so you always have the right tools for the right type of client.
  • Core (formerly Keeper Premium) has everything you need for your classic cash-basis close. It includes task management, branded client portal, 1099 handling, AI Bank Feeds, advanced month-end reporting, and more. Core is $10 per client, per month.
  • Plus (formerly Receipts) is for the client who needs a bit more support for that same cash-basis close. You get everything in Core, plus receipt management. Keep an eye on this package, because it is the next one to get an update. Plus is $25 per client, per month.
  • Scale (new) is for the complex clients who need more advanced services. Scale includes everything in Core and Plus, as well as Accruals and AI Journal Entries. Scale is $50 per client, per month. September launch promo: get 20% off Keeper Scale when you sign for 10 clients on an annual contract.
